Optimistic, determined and dedicated are a few of many ways to describe me. I am 21 years old, a recent Law graduate currently working in a law firm. I was born in Nairobi but bred in Bristol. Aside from academics, my hobbies and passions include making music, going gym, spending time with family & friends. I aspire to carve a career in music or law and I am determined to turn my aspirations into a reality. My charity of choice is Macheo Children's Centre. In Swahili, this means sunrise and the charity embodies this by empowering and protecting vulnerable children and their communities, so that they can lead a bright future. I have been inspired by the work Macheo undertakes through my uncle's dedication to the children under the charity's care. Every child deserves a happy childhood, I would like to do my part in ensuring that the children will receive the supportive and caring environment they need. The charity which I shall raise money for is Macheo Children’s centre, based in Thika. Macheo serves children in need, those in vulnerable positions and those without families. Through education, health, sheltering and protecting, caring for them and their psychological wellbeing, Macheo aims to give the children the foundation to build a brighter future.
