AMBASSADOR RAYAAN BADI FACE OF KENYA UK 2016

My name is Rayaan Badi, I'm 17 years old from mombasa, Kenya. I live in east london and i'm currently studying A Levels. There are many young Kenyans like me that are born in the UK but feel as if they aren't connected to Kenya or embrace the culture as much. I would like to be the face and voice of the new generation of young Kenyans in the UK. I have entered Face Of Kenya as it's an opportunity to embrace the beauty and culture that Kenya has to showcase and because I believe that together we can make a difference. The charity I have chosen to fundraise for is Gertrude's Childrens Hospital in Nairobi.
