Hello, My name is Melissa Khasandi. I study at Barton peveril college in Southampton doing business. I love helping people and I'm always determined to be the best.
The charity I have chosen to work with is 'karibuni organisation charity' I have chosen this charity because I feel like children/young people who live in poor areas deserves normal life as children who live in richer areas. Through my own personal experience being homeless and not having a family is the worst thing a child should experience, not knowing who to trust or whose shoulder to cry on,this has affected me mentally, emotionally and physically . By donating money and helping this charity, this will give young people in the poor areas of Kenya an opportunity to live normal, to have an education, to have things to look forward to every day. I have always dreamt of opening my own charity In Kenya and be able to help homeless children and everyday is one step closer to my dream in making a difference in a destitute's life.
