I was born in Nanyuki, Kenya and moved to the UK in 2004 with my parents and brother where we have resided for the last 15 years. The reason I’m running for the Face of Kenya UK is because I want to challenge myself in trying something I’ve never done before and to develop confidence towards making positive changes to this world. I am aware that changes cannot be made instantly which is why I am committed to positively representing the face of Kenya to help shed light in some areas that I am passionate about. For instance, becoming a mental health advocate which is closely related to the career I am pursuing in the future. I am aware of the responsibility and dedication it takes to run for the Face of Kenya UK and I am excited to have the opportunity to make changes with my fellow diaspora Kenyan brothers and sisters. My charity of choice is Kamili mental health organisation.
