I am a 28 year old Kenyan MSc. Student in London. I have studied Marketing and Communication and I am passionate about inspiring and motivating women. I currently write a blog (https://workinggirl.co.ke/category/working-girls/) where I share stories of Kenyan women in different fields and expertise to inspire and motivate young girls/women in our society and show them that the sky is not the limit. Living in the UK has not only taught me that women have the same struggles here as much as we do back home, but I have realized that it goes beyond careers and unequal pay. Girls need to be build there confidence, they need to be mentored and they need the support of other women and the system in order to rise. Fighting battles like FGM and Education for the girl child will bring us closer to better future. I have chosen Linda Msichana as my charity of choice. It's a community based organisation in kericho county working to get young teenage mothers back to school.
