AMBASSADOR CLAIRE MWATHI

I am a regular reader at my local church and have gained confidence in doing so as well as helping with the children’s liturgy. While in sixth form I was nominated as a prefect and thereby had to assist with various events and work within the prefect team to complete tasks on behalf of the whole school body. Furthermore, I work as a supervising teaching assistant at a local tuition centre, which has developed my assertiveness through me having a leading voice within the working environment. I’m always willing to put others before myself and I’m always there to listen and give advice. I always have a smile on my face no matter what I’m facing. I believe I’m a hard-working and focused individual. I have set goals and seek to achieve them, although I face obstacles on the way, I always try and pick myself up and head to the direction of my goals.
I’ll be supporting a school called St Anthony’s dress making and tailoring school.
It is a project within Limuru to provide orphaned children with an education and accommodation. I would like to raise enough money to continue a child’s school fees or examinations
