I’m 19 and I am currently living in London as I am in university studying music business. I study this course because I am an aspiring musician as I sing, rap, produce and write music. I’ve been in love with music from when I was really young and it’s just stuck with me as I’ve grown up. When I heard of this opportunity to apply for the face of Kenya I was very intrigued as I’ve been to Kenya twice and it’s really humbling when I go to certain places and see the young kids so happy and joyful regardless of the living circumstances they are in. I really hope to be chosen as I am genuinely exited by the idea of going back to Kenya again and helping in any way that I can. One of my life goals is to also go back and help Kenya in some type of way musically as I grow as an artist, whether it’s going back and building a studio or some sort of creative centre for youth. I hope to be selected and I am exited to see where this goes.
