Hello All, my name is Annabel chege and I'm a young British Kenyan, who has experienced life in Kenya for 9 years but born in the UK.I'm currently studying early years of education (childcare) which is having the knowledge and the understanding for children from the age of 1-7. A quick review about myself is that i love Kenya with a passion and I'm extremely proud to be a Kenyan because I love its stimulating and it's loving natural surroundings. My hobbies are listening to Kenyan music/ Afro beats and also catch up on the latest Kenyan news or the latest Kenyan series. This is because I'm very fascinated and attract a strong attention about Kenya in general.
Being a contestant for face of Kenya UK 2015 is overwhelming as i have a massive opportunity of making my dreams and thoughts come true, which is to help my fellow Kenyans back home who urgently need hope by the touch of a helping hand and need ambassadors who are very passionate and care about their needs. My platform is to make my homeland a better place by giving my best in terms of fundraising money that will help people in Kenya that are living in poverty and need someone like me to bring hope which will eventually transform their life.
As a patriotic I'm very grateful for having a chance to give back to my country, which is to support the hope foundation charity that helps Kenyans living in the villages and in the coast region of Kenya that are in need to overcome poverty. The reason why i choose this particular charity is that it doesn't just focus on the people's physical needs but also thinks about their spiritual life, this means it helps illuminate Christ in the hearts of people in Kenya by demolishing the strongholds of physical and spiritual poverty. As for myself I'm working towards being an early year's practitioner because my ambition and goals are to support orphans living in Kenya especially. For instance I will be returning for the future to do further more for my charity hope foundation and to also offer the best to children in terms of opening my own nursery in Nakuru, that will meet their needs and give them a good start of living life.
I will be very grateful and obligated if you could sponsor my charity hope foundation Kenya or donate to one of our ongoing projects.
As a result please join me on the 27th of June 2015 in the royal national hotel located in London as i will be sharing stories of how your support has helped my charity be successful and able to count on me.
